3617 : Herakles. Relief slab. Marble.

Found at Myloi (ancient Lerna) in the Argolid.
Either a votive relief or, more probably, a metope from a small
building, depicting one of Herakles' labours. Herakles is shown
slaying the Lernaian Hydra. In the bottom left corner is the crab
that was the monster's complice.
3rd cent. B.C.
