3369 : Amphiaraos, Votive relief in the shape of a temple. Pentelic marble.

Found in the sanctuary of Amphiaraos at Oropos. Depiction of the various phases
in the curing of a patient. At the right a suppliant,
probably the sick man or a relative, approches, venerating.
At the left, Amphiaraos cures the same patient by touching him on the
shoulder.
The panel on the all base in the background denotes the sacred area in
which the events are taking place.
According to the inscription the relief was dedicated to Amphiaraos
by Archinos.
