Found in Sparta , Peloponnese. The goat-footed god wears an animal
pelt, from which protrude only his hairy legs and his left hand
holding the pan-pipe. The expression on the face, with its bestial
features, is softened by his broad smile.
Copy made in the 1st c. A.D. of an original of the 4th cent. B.C.
