Depiction of the myth of Perseus beheading the Gorgon Medusa.
The hero has already departed, while the headless Medusa collapses on
the ground. The Gorgon's sisters, Stheno and Euryale, fly above the sea
in pursuit of Perseus.
On the neck of the vase, Herakls wrestles down the Centaur
