Zarakes (Greek: Ζάρακες) is a village in the Dystos municipality of Euboea, Greece. Its population was 936 according to the last census (2001).
The municipal department of the same name (Δημοτικό Διαμέρισμα Ζαράκων) comprises Zarakes proper and Zarakon Beach.
In historical times, Zarakes was called Zaretra (Ζάρετρα or Ζάρητρα).
