Palaiokarya (Παλαιοκαρυά) Aitoloakarnania
Palaiokarya is a mountainous settlement of Aitoloakarnania at an altitude of 500 meters [1].
Geography - History
Palaiokarya is located north of Lake Trichonida and is 20.5 km northwest of Agrinio and 16.5 km NW. from Thermo. [2] According to the Kallikratis program, together with Agios Georgios, they constitute the local community of Paleokarya, which belongs to the municipal unit of Paravola of Agrinio, and according to the 2011 census, as a community it has population 224 inhabitants, while as a settlement 132. [3]
