Neraida (Νεράιδα) Ilia

Neraida is a village in the prefecture of Ilia. It is located in the area of ​​Foloi, in the semi-mountainous Olympia, 29 km from Pyrgos. Today it belongs to the Municipality of Ancient Olympia [2] [3] and is the last community of the municipality next to the sources of the river Enipeas. Semi-mountainous at 307 meters altitude [4], rich in water.

Designation

Until 1955 it was called Kalolentzi, when it took its current name with the Government Gazette 287A of 10/10/1955 [3].
