Nagos (Ναγός) Chios

Nagos is a small coastal settlement in northern Chios, on the north-northeast coast of the island, at a road distance of about 30 kilometers from the city of Chios. With the program "Kapodistrias" it was one of the settlements of the municipal district of Kardamyla of the Municipality of Kardamyla of the Prefecture of Chios. Today it belongs to the Kallikratikos Municipality of Chios. The average altitude of the village is 10 meters above sea level. The nearest villages are the small settlement of Giosonas to the northwest and Marmaros (the coastal component of Kardamyla) to the southeast. In fact, Nagos was one of the many poles of the Kardamylos.
