Myrisis (Μυρίσης) Naxos

Myrisis is a settlement in the northern mountainous Naxos, at an altitude of 380 meters, with 55 inhabitants (2011 census). [1] Administratively, it belongs to the Local Community of Koronidos, which belongs to the Municipal Unit of Drymalia, which belongs to the Municipality of Naxos and the Small Cyclades.

Administrative changes

In 1928, in the census, it was recognized as a settlement and annexed to the community of Koronidos with its seat in the settlement of Komiaki. [9]
In 1940, the settlement was abolished. [10]
In 1951, the census was re-recognized and annexed to the Koronidos community. [11]
In 1997, with the implementation of the Kapodistrias program (law 2539/97), the Koronidos community was abolished and the settlement was annexed to the newly established municipality of Drymalia, based in the settlement of Chalkio. [12] Specifically, with the Kapodistrias program, it belonged to the Municipal Department of Koronida, the Municipality of Drymalia, the prefecture of Cyclades, to the geographical department of the Aegean Islands. [8]
In 2010, with the implementation of the Kallikratis program (law 3852/2010), the municipality of Drymalia was abolished and the settlement was annexed to the newly established municipality of Naxos & Small Cyclades. [13]

Today, after the last change of 2010 (Kallikratis program), together with the settlements of Agia (31 k.), Apollo (129 k.), Kampos (31 k.) Koronida (Komiaki 279 k.), Taxiarchis (22 k. .), Faraklo (5 k.) And Chilia Vrisi (42 k.) The local community of Koronidos (594 k.). The so-called Koronidos belongs to the municipal unit of Drymalia, the municipality of Naxos and the Small Cyclades, the regional unit of Naxos (the former prefecture of Cyclades), in the region of South Aegean.
