Mascholouri (Μασχολούριον) Karditsa
Mashcolouri (local pronunciation of Masklouri) is a village in the Municipality of Sofada in the Region of Thessaly (Kallikratis Program).
From 1999 to 2010, according to the then administrative division of Greece, it was the seat of the homonymous municipal district (d.d.) of the Municipality of Sofada. It used to be a community of the Prefecture of Karditsa. Its population in 2001 was 476, and it covers an area of 13 km2. In the village there is a Byzantine stone bridge of the 12th to the 15th century, which is still used today.
Its Educational Association publishes a quarterly newspaper entitled "I Arni".
