Malamata (Μαλάματα) Fokida
Malamata is located in Dorida, Fokidos Prefecture and has a population of 267 inhabitants, according to the 2011 Census. [1] It is 7 km from Efpalio and 5 km from Nafpaktos.
The inhabitants are engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry and produce corn, clover and citrus. In the coastal settlement of Chiliadou in the neighboring village of Managouli (about 6 km from Malamata) there are two organized tourist units.
On February 23, the village celebrates in honor of St. Polycarp. The village belongs to the municipality of Efpalio.
The oldest name for Malamata was Hasanaga until 1927.
