Latyia (Ancient Greek: Λάτυια) was a town in Ainis in ancient Thessaly.[1] It is known from epigraphic evidence.[2]
Λατυέων ἁ πόλις
Σώσανδρον Τολμαίου
εὐεργέταν τοῖς θεοῖς.
τὸν μέγαν ἐμ βουλαῖς τε καὶ ἤθεσι καὶ φρενὸς ἀλκῇ
Σώσανδρον, κλεινῶν ἔκγονον Αἰνιέων,
Τολμαίου κλυτὸν υἷα πόλις Λάτυια φιλόπλου
χάλκεον ἀντ’ ἀρετᾶς εἵσατο τᾷδε θεοῖς· ...
