Kourtelaiika (Κουρτελαίικα) Aitoloakarnania
Kourtelaiika is a semi-mountainous village in the Regional Unit of Etoloakarnania at an altitude of 220 meters [1] which is located south of Lake Trichonida at the northern foot of Mount Arakynthos. It is 27 km SE. from Agrinio and 43 km NE. from Messolonghi. As a settlement, it has been officially reported since 1940 that it was registered in the then community of Gavallos [2]. According to the Kallikratis program, together with Gavalou, they constitute the local community of Gavalous, which belongs to the municipal unit of Makrineia of the municipality of Agrinio and according to the 2011 census, has 33 inhabitants. [3]
