Kefalovrysos (Κεφαλόβρυσος) Aitoloakarnania
Kefalovrysos is a seaside village in the prefecture of Aitoloakarnania in the lagoon of Aetoliko with an altitude of 30 meters [1]. It is located next to the Ionian Road and is 14 km NE-NW. of Aetoliko and 22 km NW. of Messolonghi. As a settlement, it has been included in the Greek censuses since 1971 as part of the then community of Stamnas. [2] According to the Kallikratis program, together with Stamna and Stamnas Station, they constitute the local community of Stamnas, which belongs to the municipal unit of Aetoliko of the Holy City of Messolonghi and according to the 2011 census has a population of 225 inhabitants. [3]
