Kalyvia Sochas, is a village in the municipality of Sparta, Laconia. It is part of the municipal unit of Sparta. It has a population of 314 inhabitants (2011 census). [1]
Administrative changes
In 1919, a community of Kalyvia Sochas was formed, Kalivia was detached from the community of Slavovhori and the new community was appointed. In 1997, with the "Kapodistrias" Plan, the community was abolished and the settlement was annexed to the municipality of Sparta [2].
