Kalyvari [1] is a village on the north side of Andros, with a population of 43 inhabitants and at an altitude of 300 m. It belongs to the municipality of Andros, while before the Program Kallikratis belonged to the municipality of Hydrousa. There is the wind farm of Kalyvari and the only wind farm of Andros [2] that supplies electricity to the island. The old inhabitants of the village speak the Arvanite language. It is about 12 km from Gavrio and 44 km from Chora. The village used to be called Kallivari and Kalyvarion.
