Cheimerion (Greek: Χειμέριον) was an ancient Greek pre Hellenistic fortified settlement and port of Epirus.[1] Its acropolis was fortified since the archaic period. It is located in modern Stikgia, 5 km from Ephyra. It is mentioned by Thucydides (1, Kerkyraica, 30[2] and 46) and Pausanias.[3]
