Agnantia (Αγναντιά) Trikala
Agnantia is a village in the regional unit Trikala. It belongs administratively to the Municipality of Meteora while previously it belonged to the Municipality of Chasia. It is located 32 km northwest of Kalampaka at an altitude of 720 meters, on the slope of Tzoumanalta. About 400 - 500 live, farmers and stockbreeders, in winter and double in summer. . Agnantia is built in a position with a view, due to which the name of the village is due. Agnantia during the Turkish occupation was called "Ostrovos".
