Ο Λουί-Ζακ-Μαντέ Νταγκέρ (γαλλικά: Louis-Jacques-Mandé Daguerre, προφορά: dagɛʁ, 18 Νοεμβρίου 1787 - 10 Ιουλίου 1851) ήταν Γάλλος καλλιτέχνης και φωτογράφος, περισσότερο γνωστός για την εφεύρεσή του, τη νταγκεροτυπία, όπου συνέβαλλε στην εξέλιξη της φωτογραφίας. Πλέον είναι γνωστός ως ένας από τους Πατέρες της Φωτογραφίας.[5] Αν και είναι περισσότερο γνωστός για τη συνεισφορά του στη φωτογραφία, ο Νταγκέρ ήταν, επίσης, ένας επιτυχημένος ζωγράφος, με συνεισφορά και στο θέατρο διόραμα.
