Trypimeni (Greek : Τρυπημένη ) is a community of the District of Famagusta , located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) north of Marathovounos on the south side of the Kyrenia mountain range in the occupied region of Cyprus. Typrimeni is 36 km NW of Famagusta
In 1960 the population was 456, all Greek Cypriots. After the occupation of North Cyprus by the Turkish Army all Greek Cypriots had to leave the village.
