Syrianochori (Greek : Συριανοχώρι ) is a community in the Nicosia District of Cyprus, in the occupied region of the island. Syrianochori is 39 km W of Nicosia. In 1960 the population was 630, all Greek cypriots who left the village after the occupation of North Cyprus by the Turkish army. Some villagers were killed during the military operation such as Kostas Efthymiou, Antonios Konstantinou and Nikolaos Chatziangelis.
