Loukrounou is located next to Lake Evretou and is easily accessible from the road that connects the communities of Miliou and Giolou. Loukrounou is located 210 meters above sea level.
Name
Loukrounou is a small village located 10 kilometers south of Polida and 2 kilometers north of Miliou. The origin of her name is undetermined. In 1958, Turkish Cypriots adopted the alternative name Olokionou, meaning drained pipe. It is hard to understand why they chose this name.
