Replica of Aveiro Astrolabe
Aveiro is an astrolabe of Portuguese origin, built in 1575. Scale marked
for zenithal distance 90o 0o 90o Diameter 196 mm, Weight 2770 gr
It was recovered in 1994 from a shipwreck in Ria de Avairo and is exhibited
at the Maritime Museum of Lisbon in deposit from the Ministry of Culture.
