Peter Zrinyi and Kristof Frangepan in Prison at Wiener Neustadt
Viktor Madarász (December 14, 1830 in Csetnek – January 10, 1917 in Budapest) was a Hungarian romantic painter.
He served as a soldier and later lieutenant in the Hungarian Revolution of 1848 (1848–1849). He later lived in exile and studied painting in Vienna and with Léon Cogniet in Paris.
