Salvador Tuset Tuset (Valencia, November 9, 1883-1951) was a Spanish painter
In 1898, at the age of 15, he officially enrolled at the School of Fine Arts in San Carlos de Valencia, finishing his studies in 1903.
At age 27, in 1911, he won the position of pensioner of painting at the Spanish Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. His companions in Rome were, among others, José Capuz, Tomás Murillo, Jose Benlliure Ortiz, Moises de Huertas, Luis Benedito, Oroz and Labrada
After his death, the city of Valencia gave its name to a street and to a Group of Average Education.
In 1972, at the request of the Official School of Drawing Professors of Valencia (that were its students), the City council of Valencia erects a monument with its bust in the Alameditas de Serranos, work of its daughter Amparo under the direction of the sculptor and professor of Octavio Vicent Fine Arts.
