Ramón de Elorriaga (born 31 August 1836 in Bilbao, Biscay Province, Spain - died 1898 in Bilbao) was a Spanish painter.[1]
De Elorriaga studied painting in Madrid and Rome.[1] He visited the United States of America in 1875 to 1876.[1]
De Elorriaga is credited as the artist of a 1889 painting of the inauguration of George Washington as the first President of the United States.[2][3] The painting is in the collection of the Federal Hall National Memorial in New York City.[4]
