Josep Maria Mallol Suazo (Barcelona, 1910 - Barcelona, 1986) was a well known painter
He exhibited at the Sala Pares and other rooms Barcelona, Spain as well as various European and American cities. He spent some seasons abroad, particularly in Italy and Brazil. He was awarded several prizes and medals: first, at the Spring Exhibition 1936; Nonell Award in 1939; exhibitions of Fine Arts in Barcelona in 1942 (where he obtained his diploma work with third-reading [1]) and 1944; Montserrat 1947 contest and the Bienal Hispano Americana de Madrid 1951 [2], year in which stopped participating in official competitions and exhibitions.
