José Aparicio (16 December 1773 – 10 May 1838) was a Spanish painter of the Neoclassic period.
Born in Alicante and died in Madrid. His early training in Valencia and Madrid, then in Paris with Jacques-Louis David. He was named by Ferdinand VII as painter of the Royal chamber. He became director of the Royal Academy of San Fernando. Rafael Tejeo was one of his pupils.
