Jan Peter Molitor, in German Peter Johann Molitor, originally Peter Miller (1702 Schadeck at Koblenz - April 3, 1756, Krakow), was a German late Baroque painter who lived and worked in Prague since 1730.

Life
He was born as Peter Miller, he studied painting in Bonn, Berlin and Dresden, where he left for Prague in 1730. Here he was taught by V. V. Reiner, converted to the Catholic faith, and began to write in a polished name called Molitor. He was admitted to the Old Town community of painters, in 1734 he became a master, married and had six sons and a daughter. In 1756 he went to Krakow, where he suddenly died. [1]
Work
He painted a large number of paintings, especially in churches, as well as portraits, allegories, landscapes, etc. He was also a painter of frescoes and decorated a church in Uhříněvsi.
