Jean-Louis Voille (1744-1803 or 1805) was a French painter, born in Paris. From early 1770s Voille worked in Russia, approximately in 1780 he became the court painter of the heir to the throne, Grand Duke Pavel Petrovich (future Emperor Paul I of Russia). In the middle of the 1790s he returned to France, after Napoleon Bonaparte has come into power he went back to Saint Petersburg
