Heinrich Krigar

Heinrich Krigar (born May 7, 1806 in Berlin; † July 7, 1838 there) was a German painter.
Life
Little is known about Krigar's life. From 1824 Krigar was a student at the Prussian Academy of the Arts in Berlin, from 1824 or 1826/27 to 1836 a student in Wilhelm Wach's studio. From 1826 to 1836 he regularly took part in the Berlin Academy exhibitions, and around 1836/37 a study trip to Belgium, Holland and a stay in Paris. In Paris he was probably a student in Paul Delaroche's studio.
