Filippo Tarchiani (Florence, 1576 - Florence, 1645), was an Italian painter, active mainly in Tuscany.
A native of the hilly area of Castello near Florence, through various Roman holidays Ciampelli Augustine was a pupil of Andrea Commodi, Anastasio Fontebuoni, Orazio Gentileschi.
Among the works are the Pietà in the dramatic character of Pistoia Cathedral Museum and the Martyrdom of St. Stephen in the church dedicated to the saint in Elba. Also have to remember: San Domenico in penance and Our Lady holds out as a novice monk at the Hall of Berenice the Palatine Gallery in Florence
