Baldomero Romero Ressendi (Seville, January 20, 1922 - Madrid, April 11, 1977) was a Spanish painter. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Seville, where he stood out for his great artistic talent, although he was considered by some of his professors as extravagant because of his tendency to get out of the conventional conventional molds. He coincided during his formative stage in Seville with the natural painter of Marchena Eufemiano Sánchez, with whom he will maintain a great friendship throughout his life.
From 1946 onwards he became famous for a scandalous painter, some of whom were considered by religious authority to be obscene and lack respect for morals, although he always enjoyed protectors and friends who had him in great consideration.
His style can fit within Expressionism. Among his main works are: The hall of St. Bernard, The temptations of St. Jerome, The Eighth Circle or The burial of Christ.1 2 3
