The dead Savior lies on a stone slab covered with a cloth. On his left, in the middle of the picture, Mary is leaning over him with folded hands. An angel stands on each side of the Mother of God. Painted for the Servite Convent in Florence, the picture came to the Buckingham Gallery and was purchased for Ferdinand III in 1648.

Der tote Heiland liegtauf einer mit Tuche bedeckten Steinplatte. An seiner linken Seite, mitten im Bilde, steht Maria über ihn geneigt, mit gefalteten Händen. Zu jeder Seite der Mutter Gottes steht ein Engel. Für das Servitenkloster in Florenz gemalt, kam das Bild in die Galerie Buckingham und wurde 1648 für Ferdinand III. gekauft.
