Panagiotis Beglitis (Greek: Παναγιώτης Μπεγλίτης) (b. 25 February 1958, Corinth) is a Greek politician, who from 2004-7 was Member of the European Parliament for the Panhellenic Socialist Movement; part of the Party of European Socialists. From 17 June 2011 he was the Minister for National Defence of Greece.[1]

In the 2007 Greek legislative election he was elected to the Greek Parliament for Corinthia, and consequently resigned from the European Parliament. In 2009 he was appointed Deputy Defense Minister,[2] and was named Defense Minister on 17 June 2011.
