Dimitra Liani (Greek: Δήμητρα Λιάνη), born is 30 April 1955,[1] is the widow and former third wife of the former Greek Prime Minister Andreas Papandreou.[2]
Liani was born in Florina, Greece. She worked as an air hostess with Olympic Airways. She married Papandreou in 1989 after being his "extramarital liaison",[1] and became first lady -and head of his private office- when Andreas Papandreou returned to power in October 1993.[2]
