Found in Markopoulo (ancient Hagnous ), Attica.
The good, chaste Archestrate, beloved by her husband, as we are informed by
the epigram on the epistyle of the monument, sits on a stool with a
footstool, and takes an object from the little box held out to her
by a young woman.
Behind Archestrate's legs can be seen the figure of her younger daughter
offering her a little bird that she holds in her right hand.
