Thermaikos (Greek: Θερμαϊκός) was a municipality of the peripheral unit of Thessaloniki, Greece. It compirised of the suburbs of Peraia, Neoi Epivates (Baxe) and Agia Triada, of which had a population of 20,253 (2001). Today Thermaikos has become a suburb of its own, stretching for 10km along the southeastern coast of the Thermaic Gulf and is also a municipal unit of the new municipality of the same name. The seat of the municipality is in Peraia.
The municipality of Thermaikos was formed at the 2011 local government reform by the merger of the following 3 former municipalities, that became municipal units:
