Pethelinos (Greek: Πεθελινός) is a small village in the Serres regional unit of Central Macedonia, Greece 22 km away from the town of Serres, and not far from the Strymon River.
The village has approximately 500 inhabitants. It is part of the municipal unit Strymonas. The old name of the village was Nea Rentini (Greek: Νέα Ρεντίνη)The village has two churches, one of Saint Nikolaos and one of the Prophet Elias, built on a hill just outside the village.
