South Kynouria (Greek: Νότια Κυνουρία - Notia Kynouria) is a municipality in the Arcadia peripheral unit, Peloponnese Periphery, Greece. The seat of the municipality is the town Leonidio.[1] It covers the central portion of the ancient region of Cynuria (the SE coast of the Peloponnese) and the southern portion of the modern Kynouria Province.

The municipality South Kynouria was formed at the 2011 local government reform by the merger of the following 3 former municipalities, that became municipal units:[1]
