Mikrospilia is a village in the Municipality of Central Tzoumerka, in the Prefecture of Arta. It is located at an altitude of 720 m, on the outskirts of Mount Tzoumerka. A green place with very beautiful landscapes that one can enjoy on its paths under the shade of the mountain and the plane trees that flood the area. It has two beautiful churches and a building in the village square, which is a recognized cultural monument, as well as a traditional watermill, one of the few still operating in the area. It has a real population of 104 inhabitants (2011). Its distance from Arta is 49km.
The old name of the village was Serres. It was renamed Mikrospilia by some small caves discovered in the area. It is even said that archeological findings were found at that point.
