Kokkinovrysi (Κοκκινόβρυση) Aitoloakarnania
Kokkinovrysi is a mountain village in the prefecture of Aitoloakarnania. It is built on the slopes of Mount Panaitoliko at an altitude of about 1,020 meters and is one of the most mountainous villages in all of Etoloakarnania. It belongs administratively to the Municipality of Thermos [1] and its population according to the 2011 national census is 51 inhabitants.
Historical data
Kokkinovrysi used to be part of the former Trichonida District. Until 1928 the name of the village was "Kousina", then it was renamed "Kokkinovrisi" [2], of course the older name is still very well known and is often in use.

The Municipality of Thermos was established in 1998 with the "Kapodistrias" Plan and remained unchanged from the administrative changes of the Kallikratis Plan (2011).
