History - Administration

The old names of the village of Davronista and Dovrounista reveal a settlement from the Byzantine era and the descent of Slavic tribes in the 7th century (Sclavinia). During the Turkish occupation it is referred to as tsifliki bey [5] and in the early 19th century when Ali Pasha occupied Grevena he was under the protection of Veli Aga. In the census of 1856 it is referred to as Eleftherochori with 17 Muslim and 29 Christian houses.

It is officially referred to as Davronista in Government Gazette 260A - 31/12/1918, which defines the seat of the homonymous community. In 1919 it was corrected to Dovrounista until 1927, when it was renamed Klimataki [7]. According to the Kallikratis plan, it is the local community of Klimataki, which belongs to the municipal unit of Heraklion of the Municipality of Grevena and according to the 2011 census has a population of 82 inhabitants [8].
