Frasta (Φράστα) Arta
Frasta is a village in the Municipality of Central Tzoumerka with 88 permanent residents (2011 census) and is located in the mountainous area of Tzoumerka, at an altitude of 252 meters. The settlement is about 46 km from the city of Arta, while the distance from Vourgareli is about 40 km. [1] [2]
According to the Kapodistrias Plan, Frasta existed until the end of 2010, a settlement of the newly formed Municipality of Agnanta. Based on the new administrative division provided by the Kallikratis Plan, Frasta joined the Municipality of Central Tzoumerka. Frasta together with Artissa, Katafygi, Konakia, Palaiochori and Agnanta constitute the local community of Agnanta with a total population of 430 inhabitants. [3]
Administrative changes
The settlement was recognized in 1940 and annexed to the Agnanta community. In 1997 the settlement was included in the Municipality of Agnonta and in 2010 it was included in the Municipality of the Municipality of Central Tzoumerka. [4]
Location and access
The settlement is adjacent to the settlements of the local community of Agnanta.
