Cholargos (Greek: Χολαργός) is a suburb of Athens, Greece, located northeast of the city center and about 6 kilometers away from Syntagma square. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Papagou-Cholargos, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit.
It is accessed by Messogion Avenue in the west and is now attached to Attiki Odos at number 6 north of the town hall. The name of the suburb dates back to ancient Athens and the most prominent "Χολαργεύς" (citizen of Cholargos) was Pericles.
It was first given "community" status in 1933 and "municipality" status in 1963.
