Agios Dimitrios (Greek: Άγιος Δημήτριος) is a former municipality in the Ioannina peripheral unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Dodoni, of which it is a municipal unit.[1] Population 6,502 (2001), its area is 231.473 km² and its population density was 28.1/km². The seat of the municipality was in Theriakisi. The largest village is Kato Moussiotitsa which has its nearby school, gymnasium and lyceum. Its nearest hospital and university are in Ioannina.


The municipal unit Agios Dimitrios is subdivided into the following communities (constituent villages in brackets):

Its geography consists of almost entirely mountainous with several valleys, farmlands are in the valleys.
